A classic, reimagined. Named for American designer Claire McCardell who introduced ballet flats in the 1940s and empowered women by breaking fashion rules. The Claire Ballet Flat pairs modern elements — a high vamp, metal hardware and contrasting cap toe — with discreet details designed for superior comfort — an extra-padded footbed and rubber pods. A ruched heel adds a gentle grip, advancing the long-lasting wearability of our elegant flat.

Crafted in partnership with a Leather Working Group-certified tannery, supporting high standards in leather manufacturing and chemical management.

  • Patent leather upper; ostrich-embossed leather trim
  • Napa leather lining
  • Layered Double T metal hardware
  • Densely cushioned insole (3mm of padding)
  • Flexible rubber sole with pods for traction
  • Variations in color, texture and grain are natural qualities of leather and are inherent to the design. Avoid moisture exposure and handle with care to ensure the longest life of your shoe. Clean with a dry cloth and store in the dust bag.
