Our Spaghetti Strap Bucket Bag is an elegant interpretation of a timeless silhouette. Named for the leather cords that cinch it closed, it is inspired by the ingenuity of American designer Claire McCardell, who first used spaghetti straps — coined by her Italian seamstress — as ties on her practical, problem-solving separates. A hook-and-eye closure, another McCardell signature born out of necessity during wartime rationing and also chosen for its utility, is exaggerated here and used to fasten the bag's shoulder strap. Crafted in beautiful leather with contrast stitching, the softly deconstructed shape is ultra-versatile.
