Few cities are more magical than Venice. With its glowing canals, historic architecture and rich history, it’s been the setting for countless films — including, now, The Painting, done in collaboration with Vogue Italia and starring actress Elisa Sednaoui Dellal and Tory’s tapestry print from Fall 2015. “I wanted to show Venice and its palaces in a grand and timeless but unusual way,” explains director Boldiszar CR, who notes that the film’s mysterious and cryptic vibe takes its cue from masterpieces of classic cinema and B movies. Sednaoui Dellal, for her part, says of the experience, “To dream for a second to be actually living in a surreal Venice…”
