To celebrate the new Holiday 2017 collection, we asked Chef Betsy Thorleifson of Nine Cakes
in Brooklyn for her take on one of the season’s key looks. She took our Sylvia gown
and created the above chocolate-mint pièce de résistance, recreating the patterned embellishments down to the individual iridescent buttons. Of course, Thorleifson’s were crafted from sugar and not mother-of-pearls — but the result was just as sweet.
