Composer, DJ and producer Wladimir Schall created an eclectic soundtrack that perfectly suited the soaring, otherworldly location of the show and the ethereal optimism of the collection. The first looks walked out into organic swoops of the Gilder Center to the atmospheric techno-backed Gregorian chants of Enigma’s “Sadeness,” then segued into the raw emotion of Nina Simone’s spiritual masterpiece “Sinnerman.” The interlude – Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham pleading “Tell me that you love me” in the band’s 1979 song “Tusk” was accompanied by the jingle of bells embroidered all over a boxy coat and slinky dress – music and fashion in true harmony.
