“One of my favorite holiday traditions since I was a child is trimming the Christmas tree. My boys and I spend the day decorating the house and the tree, listening to holiday music, drinking hot chocolate and playing board games — just like I did with my three brothers when we were growing up in Valley Forge. I approach trimming our tree the same way I do decorating any room in our home… mixing color, texture, interesting and unexpected elements. I love vintage glass ornaments and pieces I find while I’m traveling that add bright color. And we have large peacock ornaments perched here and there around the tree, as well as a large one on a bench by the window. Their royal blue and emerald colors feel festive and happy.” — Tory
