The angels align every first Monday in May for the Met Gala. This year’s exhibit is “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” for which the saints and the fashionable sinners congregated at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for a party hosted by Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, Amal Clooney, Rihanna and Donatella Versace and a surprise performance by none other than Madonna, who sang Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” Prior to dinner, Tory gathered with friends, family, actress Sasha Lane, model Fei Fei Sun, Rouje designer Jeanne Damas, all wearing Tory Burch, and Loewe designer Jonathan Anderson, for cocktails at home. My summer style essentials…
I’ll tell you four! Floral vintage dresses. Basket bags. Espadrilles and sandals. Silk blouses.

And my Top 3 summer style tips…
Don’t wear any makeup (like, really, not at all) on the eyes and on the skin, just a red lip, which you apply with your fingers for a natural effect. Wet your hair with water only, with a pshit-phsit spray for natural curly summer hair. Wear the color red! Like a cardigan or a T-shirt.

My summer fitness and beauty regimen…
During the summer, I bike every day, instead of using the metro or taxi. I also drink two big bottles of water per day, and an infused water every night before bed.

My go-to summer party look…
I like to wear black silk slip dresses — they are really my favorite. So easy.

And the best summer party I’ve ever been to…
The Met Gala 2018, of course! It was my first time attending so that made it the most memorable.
