“For Pre-Fall 2014, we turned to photographer Gertrud Arndt, one of the few female artists to come out of the Bauhaus movement. We were inspired by the effortlessness of her self-portraits as well as the era’s streamlined mood and bold graphics — clean shapes, strong tailoring, stripes, polka dots…. Accessories, meanwhile, include a nod to Gertrud herself: our version of the camera bag.”
