Summertime sunsets in a wine glass — the Aperol Spritz. The cocktail, famous for its pale pink color, hasn’t changed since it debuted in Northern Italy more than a century ago. Since then, it has been a seasonal staple synonymous with summer. Katipai Richardson-Wilson, owner of Brooklyn cocktail bar Dirty Precious, concocted the above spritz especially for Tory Daily. Salute. Cin cin. Santé.
Ingredients:
Ice
1-part Aperol
1-part dry Prosecco
A splash of club soda
Orange slice, for garnish
Instructions:
Add ice to glass until it is nearly full. Pour in the Aperol (fill about one-third of the glass).
Pour in an equal amount of Prosecco.
Top your drink off with a splash of club soda and add a slice of orange.
