SANA JARDIN — Amy Christiansen

Advice for other entrepreneurs…

It is important to use business as a tool for change.

My favorite holiday tradition…

Every year, I write a letter to each of my sons, reflecting on their accomplishments and expressing how much I love them. I have sewn secret pockets inside their Christmas stockings so that, when they are older, they will find them and know how loved they are and remember the amazing milestones they achieved.

Favorite holiday cookie recipe…

My Auntie Lynn’s sugar cookie recipe that she received from her Danish mother.

CIRCADIAN COFFEE COMPANY — Kelsey Speigner

Advice for other entrepreneurs…

Focus on your strengths and know that it is okay to get help with your weaknesses.

For me, giving back means…

I strongly believe the saying “a rising tide lifts all boats.” Giving back can happen in many ways, but the goal should always be helping to bring up those around you. We all rise together.

My favorite holiday tradition…

Watching A Christmas Story on repeat all day.

MOUNT LAI — Stephanie Zheng

I started my business because…

I believe that skincare can be a form of self-care. Mount Lai was inspired by my grandmother, who has been jade rolling and practicing gua sha for over 50 years!

Advice for other entrepreneurs…

Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction! Trust your instincts.

This holiday, I am most excited for…

Spending time with loved ones, eating lots and lots of delicious food and curling up next to the fireplace with my favorite books.

APPRVL NYC — Megan Mussari

For me, giving back means…

Supporting and investing in my neighbors and community.

My favorite holiday tradition…

The Italian side of my family does a seven fish dinner on Dec 24th. Then we watch classic holiday movies when dinner is over.

My favorite holiday song…

Funky Funky Christmas by Electric Jungle

LITTLE POSTAGE HOUSE — Loly Orozco

Advice for other entrepreneurs…

Always trust your gut instinct.

Favorite holiday cookie recipe…

Alfajores. They are these delicious little caramel sandwich cookies

This holiday season, I am most looking forward to…

Family get togethers! We live far away from the rest of our family, so the holidays are always our opportunity to spend time together.

TERRA BEAUTY BARS — Fernanda Gomes

I started my business because…

I wanted to own my time and have financial freedom. I wanted to inspire my daughters to be whatever their hearts desired. I wanted to be the leader I did not see in corporate America.

Advice for other entrepreneurs…

It doesn’t get easier, you just become more resilient. I now find myself saying, ‘it’s not impossible, I just haven’t tried it yet.’

My favorite holiday tradition…

Christmas breakfast at my house. Between us three sisters there are seven grandkids! We fill my home with presents and good comfort food from Brazil and the U.S. We started this tradition after I left the Army and have kept it going.
