“There’s something about green — celadon, forest, kelly, a hint of lime… It’s a classic color in its many shades, and it pairs back to so many other colors. I obviously love it in fashion, but it’s also one of my favorites for entertaining, especially the signature lettuce green of Dodie Thayer pieces. When I met her in 2013, before we launched our Dodie Thayer for Tory Burch collection, she told me the color was called “Duncan Irish Green.” I call it perfect. It adds a brightness to any table and works year-round (I used it around the holidays, too). For a recent summer lunch, I added in a few ceramic monkeys and other animals, amid low potted plants, our Spring Meadow wine glasses, Jardin linens and bamboo flatware. Welcome to the safari… and lunch!” — Tory
