
In Uganda, a child’s education isn’t a right–it’s a luxury that families must afford. That’s why we’re excited to hear about Uganda Project, a grass-roots nonprofit that provides free education, housing, mentoring and basic needs to students in Uganda, many whom have lost their parents to AIDS, war and disease. Founded by actor Griffin Matthews in 2005, UP recently celebrated the graduation of its first two university students. To learn more, click here.
