With a collection of ready-to-wear rooted in the classic canon of fashion, expressive accessories were essential to throwing things off just so.
MIX MASTER
Collar-grazing earrings had an elegant, art-school sensibility in combinations of natural materials – quill-like shells with embossed leather, marbled resin links with textured lava rock beads and Tahitian pearls.
A FIN THING
Ultra-slim and elongated sardine brooches were pinned to Shetland sweaters and rounded coats – a chic silver glint on the cocooned, wintry ensembles. A vintage-inspired fish pendant nodded to Victorian jewelry; the head of the fully articulated piece opens to stow secret cargo within.
BIG TIME
The XL wraparound sunglasses from last season returned in new form, as sleek metal frames and wrapped in embossed leather.
THE BELT, TWO WAYS
Woven leather belts – looped into slim skirts and wide, pleated trousers – were inspired by the preppy classic, reinterpreted with an amped-up proportion and fresh colors. Elsewhere, chain belts made from geometric resin links were slung low on the hips, bringing dimension to straight-cut dresses that skimmed the body.
