Q&A: Model Nicole Pollard
Q&A: Model Nicole Pollard

Equally at home on mountain trails and city streets, Aussie

Nicole Pollard was a natural fit for our current campaign, which was shot in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. When she’s not on set, Nicole can be found hiking some of the world’s most exotic destinations — or taking her dog for epic walks back home in NYC.
Why you love walking as exercise…
It's the best way to explore a city. You can get completely lost.
Favorite walk in NYC…
Most of my walks in the city are accompanied by my dog so it’s wherever we feel like going, mostly wherever his nose takes him… but we always end up at the dog park!
Go-to walking shoes…
Nike joggers for day to day, Merrell hiking boots for the trails
Favorite hikes outside of NYC…
Harriman State Park is amazing with some beautiful lakes to take a dip in mid-hike, and, of course, the Blue Mountains in Australia
Favorite place to travel in the fall…
I love staying local in the fall, heading upstate to watch the trees change color. After a summer of travel and fun, it's a great time to just relax.

Go-to travel outfit…
Anything comfortable, like track pants and a hoodie
In your carry-on…
Noise-cancelling headphones, a good book, sudoku, a big cashmere scarf and a phone charger
Beauty tips for the plane…
WATER! Lots of water and moisturizer
Tips for surviving long flights…
Always get up and stretch your legs out, don’t drink too much alcohol and binge-watch those free movies! Also, don’t connect to WiFi; instead, use the time to zone out. Look out the window and enjoy being by yourself for a bit.
Next trip…
Backpacking in India
Dream trip…
Jordan is at the top of my list right now — hiking through Petra National Park. Easter Island is second.
Snow or sun…
Always sunshine and a great beach
