When you started running…
I started running track in 4th grade, but I did not start competing until
the 8th
grade.
Why you run…
My grandmother and my family. They have believed in me since the first
race.
Where you find the strength and motivation to keep pushing yourself…
When I feel tired, I picture my grandmother, my dad, and my mom screaming
“Let’s go,
Gracie, you can finish!”

Your advice for aspiring runners…
Manage your time wisely, stay healthy, eat the proper foods and stay
focused. But
most importantly, never let setbacks or negative people keep you from pursuing your dream
