Rated 4 out of 5 by Hoping it will be a wardrobe staple! Very classic looking jacket that I hope to wear for many years. Form-fitting without looking tight. At first I was a bit concerned that the shoulders looked a bit poofy, like that silly jacket trend from about 10 years ago, but after wearing the jacket a couple times, I think the shoulders are lying more flat as they should. Clearly, it was a splurge, but I had been waiting to find the perfect motorcycle jacket a long time and I think this is it. December 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by As timeless and classy as a leather jacket can get I appreciate the quality of Tory Burch clothing but they don't usually fit me particularly well. Most Tory items end up being too long (dresses and sweaters) or too big (skirts) on me, and I often end up returning what I bought online. Not this item. This jacket is very well tailored, like a suit. The back view is very, very flattering, which is something that doesn't happen too often. I'm 5'3 and slim, the size 0 fits me perfectly both unzipped and fully zipped, with just the right sleeve and overall lengths (I'm long armed and have long-ish torso). The jacket is not meant to be worn with chunky sweaters, as the sleeves are quite fitted and waist nibbed in, and yet the stretch makes it easy to move or raise arms as long as only thin layers are worn underneath. The leather is medium weight, and has a semi-matte texture, not glossy. I prefer that over shiny leather which can sometimes look tacky. I love leather jackets and own a couple already, but I think I have a new favorite now. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket for those who are not into the "biker" look, but nonetheless appreciate a durable, easy-to-care leather piece that's appropriate for most occasions.
