I have always worn a size 6 1/2 in Tory Burch shoes, regardless of style, but did find that the 1/2 size down fit better. In the 6 1/2, my heel would slip up and down in the back of the shoe while walking. I have narrow feet and the toes are slightly tight, but not uncomfortable. (although I do unbuckle the strap to take them on and off-- the larger size slipped on and off without unbuckling.)
Love these boots for errands during the day or evenings, and they look amazing with blue jeans.
I like that the ankle opening isn't too large, as I have small ankles.
Have worn these with skirts as well and these shoes have the perfect balance between rugged and classic "American" chic, that they are versatile, pairing well with both feminine and boyish styles.
The brown leather is extremely rich in color and a beautiful deep hue, but still very "brown".

I love these boots. They are extremely comfortable and can be worn for hours without fuss. Equally as charming with preppier looks or edgier outfits, they'll be my staple shoe for Fall and Winter 2014/2015. The finish of the leather is even better when you get them in your hands - it has a more distressed finish (that doesn't translate as well in these photographs) that's really unique and stylish. These were a great find and a boot I look forward to building outfits around! (Sidenote: I wore these as my airplane/travel shoes last week and they were a gem to travel in. Super comfortable yet way stylish.)
In terms of size, I wear a size 8.5 in heels/flats but in boots I typically bump up to a 9 to accommodate socks, etc. I got these in a 9 and they are perfect with both tights and socks (nothing too super thick).
