Alexander Vethers’ Berlin apartment, from Haute Bohemians by Miguel Flores-Vianna (Vendome)
To follow Miguel Flores-Vianna on Instagram is akin to taking a glorious vacation, right from your iPhone. The stream of lush images instantly transports you — and brings a gratifying sense of discovery along with it. This fall, the interiors editor-turned-photographer has taken the experience offline, collecting some of his work into a big, beautiful book — his first. Called Haute Bohemians, the page-turner zooms in on the perfectly-imperfect, deeply-personal homes of Flores-Vianna’s friends and acquaintances, captured across four continents. There’s the richly-layered Paris abode of textile designer Carolina Irving, the Italian farm where artist Alexander Twombly paints, the Tangier dream where esteemed landscape designer Madison Cox takes up residence, and the beachy waterside respites of architect-designer Daniel Romualdez, Tory’s frequent collaborator. Flores-Vianna’s eye for color makes the perfect lens.
