Rated 2 out of 5 by Gorgeous! These boots are absolutely gorgeous. The problems I had with them is that they were way too big. I normally wear a size 7, which is what I ordered, they were too loose around the ankle and and about half a size too big. The other problem, and reson I didn't exchange but returned, is that the shaft is too high! When I sat down the back of the boot hit my upper thigh and was too uncomfortable. I believe the standard shaft is 15inches, these were 17inches. October 18, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful boot, runs very large I purchased this boot in the elephant color. The color is more of a taupe/grey in person than the more brownish shade appearing in the photo (which is what I was hoping) and the boot itself is very, very beautiful. I am usually a size 8 across the board so that is what I ordered. Upon arrival, they are absolutely gorgeous as can be expected from Tory Burch. However, they run literally almost an entire size too large. When I lined up several other pairs of size 8 boots and shoes sole to sole, there was a full inch difference. I have a narrow foot and slimmer calves, and the width of the shoe was comfortable for me, even with thick socks, so they may run a bit narrow. Those with a wider foot might only want to size up a half size. The leg of the boot was a bit looser than I would have liked as well which caused a little bit of buckling at the ankle. I ended up getting the Amanda boot instead (7.5!) and I am very happy with them. October 14, 2012
