I purchased this bag in the turquoise and am thrilled. The leather is a soft gorgeous pebble, but the bag has enough structure because if its shape that the soft leather doesnt end up looking too slouchy, It's a perfect medium size, I can fit a ton in there but it's not as large to carry as the classic hobo or the double zip totes, so it looks appropriate when im out for dinner or running errands. even though i love large bags, sometimes they look ridiculous. I find it relatively light weight when empty, The front pocket is great and back slip pocket is really useful for keys and my work badge. I don't know what happened with the previous review, but this bag certainly does have feet, which are necessary in my opinion for a bag of this shape. I also like that this bag zips on top, and isn't a magnetic snap. I agree with the website description that this is a bag I will carry for many years, so it was a good investment for me, if you are looking for your everyday bag, I think the middy satchel is it! Would love to see this in a beautiful light or medium pink shade!

I received this bag as a Christmas gift from my husband, and loved the look and feel of it. The leather is very soft and the bag is roomy without being too big. Unfortunately, the lining on the inside of the bag was sewn incorrectly and interfered with the operation of the zipper so I returned it. I also noticed that there were no feet on the bottom of the bag, and there are feet in the picture on the website.
