I ordered this shoe with the concern that it may be too narrow across the strap and too heavy. Well...I was pleasantly surprised! They were comfortable with plenty of room across the strap for my slightly wide feet and not too heavy. The gold medallion on the side of the wedge adds a nice detail without being too much. I wore them right out of the box for 2 days straight-no break in time required! I'm a Kindergarten teacher and on my feet all day and didn't have to make a quick change like I usually do with new shoes. They looked beautiful with my straight leg pants and capris and I can't wait to wear them with a sundress and shorts. I received so many compliments that I'm thinking of ordering the beige ones before they sell out. This is a great investment sandal that is classy, stylish and comfy and will not disappoint.
